Admissions Process

Welcome! We are delighted that you are considering St. Judes Academy. This application package is an integral part of our admissions process.

Please be assured that none of the questions are intended to prevent students from being invited to attend our school. We are trying to gain as much information about students and their families as possible so that all parties involved have a solid foundation for a rich and engaging personal interview.

We admit students for the following September on a continuous basis throughout the year. Admission to St. Jude’s Academy is competitive; thus, to avoid disappointment, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Step 1: The Application

The Application Form is to be completed by the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the applicant. Once the form has been completed and submitted you will be contacted by our admissions office about your inquiries or to set up a school tour.

Step 2: The Interview

Once the application has been received, we will be in touch to set up an interview and tour. Both the applicant and their parent(s)/guardian(s) are expected to attend the interview. St. Judes Academy feels that it is of the utmost importance for the applicant to visit the school and be interviewed in person.

Step 3: Assessment and References

Assessment Day:

Your child(ren) will join us for one full day to complete assessments in reading, writing, and math. This will give us a better understanding of your child’s academic strengths and opportunities.

Academic References (two completed Academic references are required):

  • English, Science or Social Studies Teacher Reference
    This Academic Reference Form is to be completed by the student’s current English, Science or Social Studies teacher.
  • Math Teacher Reference

This Math Reference Form is to be completed by the student’s current Math teacher.

Note: The Reference Forms are to be completed by current academic personnel. Reference forms are given at the interview. Please use the forms provided by St. Judes Academy.

Step 4: The Decision

Decisions are made after a thorough assessment of the applicant. We stress that this assessment is based on academic performance and potential, extra-curricular skills and accomplishments, integrity, and suitability for the SJA experience.

Step 5: The Final Step – Registration forms

Upon acceptance, you will receive registration forms to be completed.


  • $300 Application Fee (applied to the tuition total)
  • A copy of the applicants birth certificate or passport
  • A copy of the applicants most recent immunization records
  • Post-dated cheques (please refer to Fees for tuition breakdown)
  • Please note that international student fees may be applicable
