ESL School, Classes and Course Descriptions
Level 1- English as a Second Language
Students will be introduced to English language skills through listening, speaking, reading, and writing for formal and informal uses.
Level 2- English as a Second Language
This course expands on the skills students have developed in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills both formally and informally. Students will participate in conversations, in a variety of types of situations.
Level 3- English as a Second Language
This course continues to expand students’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English both formally and informally. In this course, students will begin making oral presentations to highlight their development with the English language.
Level 4- English as a Second Language
This course works to prepares students to use their English knowledge in a variety of academic and social situations. Students will be prepared to integrate into Canadian universities. Students will develop reading, writing, and oral presentation skills that will help them to excel at top Canadian universities.
Level 5- Bridge to English
This course closely focuses on the ESL students’ ability to excel in essay-writing, creative writing, and critical analysis of literature and media issues. These students will have their final preparation on the skills needed to be successful in top Canadian universities.
